Library
Our Blue Owl Library has more than 3,000 English books for the public to browse and borrow. We have an extensive collection of picture books for pre-readers, early readers, graphic novels and classics of English literature for students and adults. We also have extensive resource library for teachers of English that can be photocopied onsite or borrowed from our library. For students of the secondary glassmaking school, local glass artists and anyone else interested in the region’s glassmaking tradition, we offer a wide range of books about glass that can be read onsite, borrowed or even purchased. Uniquely, through our partnership with Chicago’s Bluegrass Ambassadors, we also have a range of musical instruments to lend, providing a unique opportunity to try out a banjo or violin before investing in one. For local schools, leisure-time centers and summer day camps, we can prepare programs for childrens’ visits.
